Journal of Society for e-Business Studies

General Introduction

The Journal of Society for e-Business Studies is an official journal of the Korean Society for e-Business Studies since 1996. It is a refereed journal dedicated to disseminating the research and practice of electronic business. It aims to offer an integrated and inter-disciplinary view of the diverse fields in electronic business. The journal accepts articles, tutorials, or state-of-the-art papers that provide a novel contribution to the field, including but not limited to the followings: 

- experimental or theoretical research on e-business models and policy; 
- design or application on organizational and industrial transformation with e-business; 
- computer and information technology for e-business infrastructure. 

The journal is quarterly published in February, May, August, and November each year, Its ISO abbreviated title is “J Soc e-Bus Stud”. Some, or all, of the articles in this journal are indexed in KCI(Korea Citation Index), NDSL(National Discovery for Science Leaders), DBpia, KOFST, DOI/Crossref, and Google Scholar.
The journal is financially supported by the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies Grant funded by the Korean Government.

Annual subscription rates in KRW for libraries: ₩100,000. Individual students: ₩20,000. Individual non students: ₩30,000.

Manuscripts

Manuscripts should be submitted online via the journal homepage at https://acoms.kisti.re.kr/KSBS. The main text can be written in Korean or English, while the bibliographies must be written in English only. The style and format of the manuscript need to follow the journal submission guideline(투고규정). The guideline is available on the homepage. 

All manuscripts are double-blind peer-reviewed by at least 3 anonymous reviewers selected by the editor. Once the manuscript is accepted for publication, authors should go through the Authors’ Check List, and provide the final manuscript along with the Copyright Agreement.

References

References should be written in English only and shown in alphabetical order on authors' names in the following format.

  A. For journals: authors(s), “article title,” journal name, volume number, issue number, page range, publication year. For example, 
      [1] Dosdale, T., “Security in EDIFACT System,” Computer Communications, Vol. 17, No. 7, pp. 215-236, 1994.

  B. For books: author(s), book name, page range, publisher, place of publication, publication year. For example,   
      [2] Garfinkel, S., PGP: Pretty Good Privacy, pp. 534-650, O’ Reilly & Associates, Inc., Sebastopol, California, 1995.

Publication Ethics

The authorship should include those who have made substantial contributions to a study such as formulating the problem or hypothesis, structuring the study, designing and conducting the empirical analysis, interpreting the results.
This journal adheres to the ethical guidelines for research and publication described in Guidelines on Good Publication(http://publicationethics.org/resources/guidelines).
In case of any kind of misconduct such as fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism, significant penalties such as warning, or deprivation of membership shall be imposed on all authors.

Publication Charges

There is no submission fee except fast-track review. Fast-track review costs is ₩120,000.
The publication charge for accepted paper is ₩300,000, up to 10 pages. For excess of 10 pages, ₩20,000 charge will be added for each page.
₩300,000 will be additionally charged for authors who want to print their accepted paper on the earliest issue.
